Freegan – a documentary

St. Michael’s college students’ film showcases freegan lifestyle
I can’t say I have actively participated in the lifestyle of being freegan, but I do have a great interest in the politics behind it. Coupled with such things as the public fruit movement, which is documented by sites like Fallen Fruit, it could be a great tool for people trying to live their lives as simple as possible in large urban centres.
Of course, if box stores like Wal-Mart keep spreading across the planet, it may sadly become an easy way of life for those in smaller centres as well.
