WAIW | Hit a Brick Wall
Waking-up in the middle of the night and checking your phone is rarely a good idea. This morning, that certainly was the case as I found out I was not going to receive a grant I had applied for to release the next issue. Since I’ve received this grant numerous times in the past for both issue releases and touring, I’ve come to depend on it to be able to do the things I do with the magazine on a regular basis.
Needless to say, I didn’t sleep very well after reading the email, and I’ve spent this morning in a bit of a panic trying to figure out my next steps. For more on all of that, please check out today’s WAIW episode.
