WAIW | Am I A Vegan With A B12 Deficiency?

Although there’s plenty of evidence to suggest that a vegan diet can be healthy at any age for many people, the need for a B12 supplement is something that not enough of us within the vegan community talk about when it comes to nutrition.

Personally, as a long-term vegan (10+ years), I’ve had a number of ups and downs when it comes to my health. Lately, I suspect my biggest issue relates to a B12 deficiency, and there’s a number of reasons why. As I explain in the video, I could have easily addressed the issue much sooner, but I didn’t.

If you’re vegan, please research a great B12 supplement that is available in your area or consider a variety of fortified foods when possible, and don’t risk your health in the long-term.

For more information on veganism and B12, the Vegan Society has a great article here.
